Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support a dynamic engineering team, the remote contract Site Reliability Engineer will design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines while driving automation and improving system reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation solutions
- Establish observability and monitoring practices while driving automation to reduce operational toil
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to enhance system reliability and streamline release processes
Required qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience in cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Proven software development experience, particularly in building internal tooling
- Experience with object-oriented programming, preferably in Java
- Familiarity with cloud cost allocation and resource optimization practices
