Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a growing client in the technology and cybersecurity industry, the fully remote Site Reliability Engineer will monitor production environments, execute system hardening initiatives, and enhance automation solutions to ensure platform stability and security.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain production environments to ensure system reliability, availability, and performance
• Execute patching activities, vulnerability remediation efforts, and continuous system hardening initiatives
• Develop and enhance automation solutions through scripting and DevOps best practices to improve operational efficiency

Required qualifications:

• 2+ years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration, command-line troubleshooting, and scripting languages
• Knowledge of patch management, vulnerability management, and security best practices
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and experience supporting production environments
• Exposure to compliance frameworks such as NIST or other regulatory standards is preferred
