Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting a growing client in the technology and cybersecurity industry, the fully remote Site Reliability Engineer will maintain platform stability, enhance system security, and oversee ongoing infrastructure operations within a collaborative engineering environment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain production environments to ensure system reliability, availability, and performance
• Execute patching activities, vulnerability remediation efforts, and continuous system hardening initiatives
• Develop and enhance automation solutions through scripting and DevOps best practices to improve operational efficiency

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Systems Engineering, DevOps, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Linux administration, command-line troubleshooting, and scripting languages
• Knowledge of patch management, vulnerability management, and security best practices
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk and experience supporting production environments
• Exposure to compliance frameworks such as NIST or other regulatory standards is preferred
