Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Site Reliability Engineer will build, maintain, and improve cloud infrastructure using technologies like Google Cloud Platform, Kubernetes, and Terraform, ensuring the reliability and performance of the services.
Key responsibilities
- Automate day-to-day tasks and design highly available, scalable systems
- Ensure smooth operations of the cloud infrastructure and collaborate with product teams to resolve production issues
- Build and evolve tools and standards for automation, monitoring, and alerting
Required qualifications
- Proficiency with at least one cloud platform, preferably Google Cloud Platform
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker
- Experience with automation tools like Terraform, Puppet, or Ansible
- Experience writing automation scripts using Go, Python, or similar languages
- Proficient with version control systems and CI/CD concepts
