Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
As part of the Technical Operations team, the fully remote Site Reliability Engineer will manage operational support for distributed software applications, optimize system performance, and build infrastructure to ensure scalability and security.
Key responsibilities
- Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple large, distributed software applications
- Measure and optimize system performance while innovating to improve capabilities
- Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
Required qualifications
- Experience with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis
- Understanding of scripting languages including Python, Bash, and PHP
- Knowledge of automated deployment and configuration management tools like Ansible and Docker
- Linux system administration skills
- Familiarity with AWS and other cloud infrastructure services
