Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
Joining the Platform Engineering team, the full-time Site Reliability Engineer will manage cost optimization efforts, monitor SLI/SLO alerts, and operate Kubernetes infrastructure, with the flexibility to work remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of remaining cost optimization work following major cost-reduction efforts
- Monitor and respond to SLI/SLO alerts, investigating anomalies as they arise
- Operate and maintain the team's existing Kubernetes and EKS infrastructure on a day-to-day basis
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes operations, preferably with EKS
- Solid foundation in AWS, including IAM setup; general AWS certifications are a plus
- Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools
- Experience operating production systems rather than architecting them from scratch
- Familiarity with SRE fundamentals such as error budgets and SLIs/SLOs, or willingness to learn
