Leading a senior team of Site Reliability Engineers, the full-time remote Site Reliability Engineering Lead will manage reliability initiatives, write production code, and build automation while fostering team growth and collaboration across engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Lead a senior SRE team, focusing on high-leverage reliability work and career development
- Write production code and build automation and tooling, contributing to the team's codebase
- Define service ownership, alerting, dashboards, and runbooks while managing incident response and preventative measures
Required qualifications
- Strong software engineering foundation with proficiency in modern languages such as Python or Go
- Experience with reliability for production systems in high-availability environments, preferably in fintech
- Recent management experience leading a small engineering team
- Hands-on experience with observability, alerting, and incident command
- Effective communication skills during live incidents and team interactions
