Site Reliability Engineering Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of engineers, the full-time remote Site Reliability Engineering Manager will oversee the development of platforms and infrastructure to ensure reliable and scalable services, while fostering a culture of automation and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of platform-focused SRE engineers, promoting technical growth and performance management
- Build and maintain internal platforms and tooling for product teams to deploy and operate their services reliably
- Establish frameworks for observability, deployment automation, and reliability measurement to enhance operational excellence
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on engineering management experience
- 9+ years as a software or systems engineer with expertise in building platforms or infrastructure
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Strong operational experience with Kubernetes in production environments
- Expertise with at least one public cloud provider (AWS, GCP) and experience with CI/CD systems
