Sleep Study Support Specialist

Job Summary

Providing compassionate and timely support, the part-time Sleep Study Support Specialist will assist patients throughout the sleep testing process, managing equipment troubleshooting and scheduling while primarily working from home with occasional onsite meetings.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver professional phone support to patients and customers, addressing inquiries and providing clear information about services and testing
• Coordinate patient testing, ensuring accurate documentation of appointments and follow-up actions while maintaining HIPAA compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance the patient experience, adapting to changing priorities as needed

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a sleep center or customer/patient-facing environment
• Preferred RPSGT or CCSH certification
• Experience in direct communication with patients or customers by phone
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in handling confidential information in accordance with HIPAA requirements
