Small Business Underwriter

Job Summary

Supporting the underwriting process for multiple lines of business, the full-time Small Business Digital Concierge Underwriter will manage agent inquiries, evaluate risks, and ensure compliance while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for agent inquiries regarding contracts, pricing, and system training
• Evaluate, accept, reject, or modify risks according to underwriting guidelines and compliance regulations
• Build and maintain relationships with agents and underwriters to drive profitability, growth, and retention

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma; college credits or insurance certifications preferred
• Knowledge of Commercial Property and Casualty insurance principles and practices
• Experience with Small Commercial Inventory Management systems and MS Dynamics
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships
• Proven analytical skills for identifying and reporting problems while managing detailed information
