SNOC Engineer III
Job Summary
To enhance SNOC operations in a remote capacity, the full-time salaried SNOC Engineer III will drive continuous improvement, serve as the primary escalation point for complex incidents, and support the development of operational documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Drive continuous improvement by enhancing monitoring, response workflows, and operational efficiency
- Act as the technical lead for high-severity incidents, coordinating investigation and recovery efforts
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers during investigations and incident responses
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced knowledge of operations, incident investigation, and threat detection methodologies
- Experience with SIEM and monitoring platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel or similar technologies
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or similar)
- Preferred certifications: GIAC (GCIH, GCIA, GCFA), CompTIA CySA+ or CASP+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate
