Snowflake Data Architect
Job Summary
To design and own the end-to-end architecture of a workforce intelligence platform as a native application on the Snowflake Marketplace, the full-time remote Snowflake Data Architect will lead architectural decisions, guide a cross-functional team, and manage the Snowflake Security Review process.
Key responsibilities
- Design the Application Package structure per Snowflake Native App Framework specifications and architect a cloud-agnostic strategy
- Lead preparation for the Snowflake Security Review and produce the necessary compliance documentation for Marketplace listing
- Evaluate and recommend migration tooling for the Talend dbt/Snowflake transition while documenting data flows and access controls
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cloud or data architecture
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, including the Native App Framework or Snowpark
- Proven track record delivering architecture documentation for platform reviews or compliance processes
- Experience publishing or contributing to a Snowflake Marketplace application
- Familiarity with dbt, Streamlit, or Snowflake Cortex
