Job Summary
Leading the design and implementation of Snowflake architecture, the remote Senior Snowflake Data Architect will manage dimensional modeling, translate business requirements into technical designs, and ensure data quality and compliance for healthcare clients over a 3-month contract.
Key responsibilities
- Own Snowflake architecture and define staging, curated, and conformed-layer patterns and standards
- Translate business and technical requirements into logical and physical designs for engineering delivery
- Lead dimensional and historical modeling for patient/member data, including SCD Type 2
Required qualifications
- 10+ years in data engineering, warehousing, or analytics, with 5+ years as a data or solution architect
- Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture and advanced SQL
- Expertise in dimensional modeling, including star schemas and surrogate keys
- Experience with healthcare payer/provider data and member identity models
- Strong skills in data quality, reconciliation, and documentation
