Snowflake Platform Engineer
Job Summary
To support a growing data-platform environment, the full-time W2 Snowflake Platform Engineer will build and manage Snowflake infrastructure, utilize Terraform for resource management, and ensure platform reliability while working remotely with a focus on a major data migration initiative.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage Snowflake platform infrastructure including warehouses, roles, and permissions
- Use Terraform to provision and manage Snowflake resources as infrastructure as code
- Support platform reliability, security, and incident response while partnering across AWS and Databricks environments
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on data platform or data infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong Snowflake administration experience, including RBAC and resource monitors
- Hands-on Terraform experience managing Snowflake resources
- Experience building new platform environments rather than just maintaining existing ones
- Familiarity with multi-provider infrastructure such as Snowflake with AWS or Databricks
