Snowflake Platform Engineer
Job Summary
Working remotely on a full-time contract basis, the Snowflake Platform Engineer will build and manage Snowflake platform infrastructure, utilizing Terraform for resource management while supporting ongoing platform operations and a major data migration initiative.
Key responsibilities
- Build and manage Snowflake platform infrastructure, including warehouses, roles, and permissions
- Use Terraform to provision and manage Snowflake resources as infrastructure as code
- Support platform reliability, security, cost governance, and incident response while collaborating across AWS and Databricks environments
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on data platform or data infrastructure engineering experience
- Strong Snowflake administration experience, including RBAC and warehouse sizing
- Hands-on Terraform experience managing Snowflake resources
- Experience building new platform environments and familiarity with multi-provider infrastructure
- Experience with infrastructure CI/CD and platform operations
