SOC 2 Compliance Lead

Job Summary

Owning the compliance function, the part-time contractor SOC 2 Compliance Lead will maximize automation, streamline processes, and ensure audit readiness while managing the annual SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 cycles remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Push the automation of the compliance program and adapt controls to evolving operational needs
• Own the annual SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 cycle, ensuring audit readiness and managing interactions with external auditors
• Enhance efficiency in responding to RFPs and security questionnaires while maintaining compliance with onboarding and training processes

Required qualifications

• 3+ years in security compliance/GRC, ideally at a B2B SaaS company
• Hands-on experience running a SOC 2 Type II cycle, including direct interaction with external auditors
• Familiarity with compliance automation platforms such as Drata, Vanta, or Secureframe
• Comfortable with systems like AWS, Okta, GitHub, and endpoint management
• Available 2-3 days per week with solid working-hours overlap with CET, and must be located in an EU time zone
