SOC Analyst with Secret Clearance

Job Summary

To support the Department of Defense Education Activity's Enterprise Cyber Program, the remote SOC Analyst with Secret Clearance will monitor network traffic, perform incident response, and manage security alerts during scheduled night and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network traffic and security data for signs of malicious activity
• Manage incidents throughout their lifecycle, including analysis, triage, containment, and remediation
• Develop and maintain incident response playbooks and support SIEM detection strategies

Required qualifications:

• Minimum of five years of relevant cybersecurity experience, including SOC operations
• Active Secret security clearance
• Required cybersecurity certifications from specified groups, including CASP+ CE, CISA, or CISSP
• Experience with SIEM tools, such as Microsoft Sentinel
• Ability to work scheduled night and weekend shifts remotely
