SOC Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a hands-on SOC Engineer, the full-time remote position will manage customer onboarding into managed security services, configure Microsoft security tools, and ensure reliable telemetry operations while working East Coast hours.
Key responsibilities
- Lead technical onboarding of new customers, including discovery, configuration, and validation
- Configure and integrate Microsoft security services with customer environments
- Troubleshoot and validate security telemetry from various sources, including cloud and on-premises systems
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field preferred
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud, or security engineering, with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure
- 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Sentinel or a comparable enterprise SIEM
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft security stack and multi-tenant delegated access
- Proficiency in KQL and scripting (PowerShell or Python)
