SOC Security Analyst

Job Summary

As a senior technical expert in a hybrid work environment, the full-time SOC Security Analyst L3 will manage active intrusions, lead complex investigations, and mentor junior analysts while ensuring effective communication and response to client security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security events and alerts from various sources, including SIEM and EDR telemetry
• Act as the technical escalation point for incidents and lead investigations into security breaches
• Deliver clear documentation of incident handling and communicate regularly with clients regarding incidents and remediation actions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related IT field, or equivalent professional experience
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a SOC, TOC, or NOC environment
• Expertise in SIEM solutions, EDR, and incident response methodologies
• Advanced knowledge of network protocols, malware detection, and forensic analysis
• Relevant certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, or Security+ are strongly preferred
