Social Media Assistant

Job Summary

To support a dynamic social media team, the full-time Social Media Assistant will manage media archives, assist with social media coverage, and track performance across platforms in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Research current social media trends and creatively apply findings to PETA's initiatives
• Maintain usage rights for photos and videos, including archiving and tracking permissions
• Assist with the analysis of social media efforts and maintain an editorial calendar for the team

Required qualifications

• College degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Minimum of one year of experience in an office environment
• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms and proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Proven ability to conduct and analyze marketing research
• Support for PETA's philosophy and commitment to the organization's objectives
