Job Summary
Leading the Software Architecture Team for the AvionX Mission Systems Software organization, the full-time remote Software Architect will direct the design, development, testing, and maintenance of embedded software systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Direct the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software for embedded devices and systems
- Consult on code and integration of embedded software with specialized hardware components
- Oversee the efficiency and stability analysis of embedded software systems and influence software and hardware integration strategies
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance, requiring US Citizenship
- 5+ years of experience leading a software development team through the full software life cycle
- 5+ years of experience in software architecture and design of embedded software systems
- Experience with software architecture and design methodologies
