Job Summary
To support the Software Asset Management (SAM) team, the fully remote Software Asset Management Analyst will manage the SBOM program, ensuring compliance and improving processes while collaborating with various stakeholders to analyze software components and licensing obligations.
Key responsibilities
- Run the SBOM program, shaping processes and standards while collecting and reviewing SBOMs for software
- Collaborate with developers and DevSecOps to automate SBOM generation and maintain a versioned SBOM repository
- Analyze software inventory and licensing data, supporting compliance assessments and remediation of unauthorized software
Required qualifications
- 3+ years in Software Asset Management, IT Asset Management, or software licensing
- Solid understanding of SBOMs and software supply chains
- Working knowledge of open-source licensing and its implications
- Familiarity with package ecosystems such as npm, Maven, and container images
- Strong analytical skills for reconciling inventory and licensing data
