Job Summary
To support a long-term remote engagement, the Software Automation Engineer will focus on developing and maintaining test automation frameworks, utilizing languages such as Python and C#, while mentoring QA engineers on best practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain UI test automation for web applications using tools like Playwright and automate Windows desktop applications
- Log, track, and report defects and test results using management tools, ensuring comprehensive automated test coverage
- Analyze requirements and acceptance criteria to identify gaps, translate them into automated tests, and debug failing tests
Required qualifications
- 4-6+ years of experience in software test automation or QA engineering
- Proficiency in Python, C#, and XML scripting for test automation
- Experience with UI test automation tools such as Playwright or Selenium
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies
- Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience with T-SQL queries
