Software Configuration Management Specialist
Job Summary
To support advanced aerospace and lunar exploration programs, the full-time Software Configuration Management Specialist will manage software baselines, oversee release processes, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute software and firmware release activities across multiple development programs
- Process and support Change Requests (CRs), Change Notices (CNs), and release approvals
- Develop, document, and continuously improve software configuration management procedures and workflows
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical discipline; equivalent experience may be considered
- 5+ years of experience in Software Configuration Management, Release Management, Build Engineering, or related technical environments
- Demonstrated experience performing software and firmware release activities
- Strong understanding of software configuration management principles and industry best practices
- Experience supporting change management processes, including Change Requests (CRs) and Configuration Audits
