Software Data Engineer
Job Summary
To support the mission of the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office, the full-time remote Software Data Engineer will research, design, develop, and enhance software and data pipelines, utilizing R and SQL for data manipulation and ETL workflows.
Key responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs
- Develop and implement data pipelines using ETL platforms and languages such as Databricks, Python, and R
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipelines and automation efforts
Required qualifications
- Three (3) to ten (10) years of directly related experience
- At least three (3) years of experience as a Data Engineer
- High-level proficiency and professional experience using R and/or SQL for data manipulation, extraction, and transformation tasks
- Experience developing and implementing data pipelines using ETL platforms and languages such as Databricks, Python, and/or R
- Hands-on experience maintaining and optimizing data pipelines and automation efforts
