Job Summary
To support the Department of Homeland Security's digital platforms, the remote Software Developer will develop, test, and maintain applications for the Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN), ensuring a seamless experience for over 100,000 users.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain features and fixes for HSIN applications and websites
- Support application components and integrations using Drupal/PHP, Java, and .NET
- Resolve defects and service requests as part of Tier 2/3 support and document processes
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of three years of software development experience
- Experience with PHP/Drupal, Java, .NET/C#, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Proficiency in MySQL, Git, and Agile development using Atlassian Jira
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Client Public Trust suitability determination
