Job Summary
To support critical business initiatives in the hospitality/travel industry, the contract Software Developer will design, build, and maintain data-driven solutions with a focus on advanced SQL development and workflow orchestration, working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and data pipelines for enterprise reporting and analytics
- Build and support workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, including scheduling and monitoring
- Create automation and utilities using Python and Unix scripting to enhance data operations and platform reliability
Required qualifications:
- 6+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments
- Advanced SQL skills, including performance tuning and complex query development
- Intermediate-to-strong Python proficiency for data engineering and automation
- Intermediate-to-strong Unix/Linux scripting proficiency
- Intermediate-to-strong Apache Airflow experience (DAG development, scheduling, troubleshooting)
