Job Summary
To facilitate the setup of trading venues, the remote Software Developer (Market Setup) will manage the entire process from scoping and connectivity design to protocol adaptation and operations preparation, ensuring a smooth transition to live trading.
Key responsibilities
- Scope venue specifications, estimate setup requirements, and design connectivity infrastructure
- Adapt market data and order entry connectors to various binary protocols while ensuring compliance with venue conformance tests
- Prepare operational instructions and oversee the first live trade, providing hypercare and handover support
Required qualifications
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming in C++
- Knowledge of Linux system internals
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English in an international environment
- Experience working in remote/hybrid teams with project-based responsibilities
- Familiarity with low latency/real-time development is a plus
