Job Summary
Supporting the USDA APHIS Plant Protection and Quarantine program, the fully remote Software Developer will design, develop, and enhance application components using .NET 10, React, and Azure technologies while collaborating with cross-functional teams and participating in Agile development practices.
Key responsibilities
- Develop scalable backend APIs and microservices for the CTIS M program and Regulated Garbage workflows
- Manage Azure DevOps Git workflows and maintain build and release pipelines
- Collaborate with team members in Agile ceremonies and contribute to technical design reviews
Required qualifications
- Professional experience developing with .NET (preferably .NET 10+)
- Hands-on experience with React or modern JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps workflows and YAML-based build/release pipelines
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and cloud services
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
