Software Developer in Test

Job Summary

Owning the automated testing of features within their squad, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test II will design, implement, and execute automated tests across the platform while contributing to quality engineering efforts and improving test coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and executes automated tests, ensuring the reliability of new features developed within the squad
• Investigates and resolves automation failures, contributing to meaningful automation coverage and converting manual tests to automated ones
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance quality metrics and participates in code review practices across the team

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quality engineering, preferably in a cloud-native SaaS environment
• Solid hands-on experience with TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and familiarity with Java and JavaScript
• Core automation skills with in-depth knowledge of testing frameworks like Cypress
• Understanding of cloud and microservices architecture, along with experience in API contract and integration testing
• Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins and experience collaborating with DevOps teams
