Job Summary
Experienced Software Developers in Test (SDET) will find a full-time remote opportunity focused on developing and executing test plans, writing test cases, and performing software testing to ensure high-quality deliverables in the Veterans Affairs department.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Lead testing efforts for software and IT systems, ensuring proper operation and defect-free performance
- Document and communicate test results while supporting the analysis of these results and resolving any open issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools, including Selenium and JUnit
