Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans and cases, ensuring software quality through both manual and automated testing while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and procedures to meet organizational standards
- Lead testing efforts for software and IT systems, documenting and communicating test results effectively
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify test requirements and resolve complex issues
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
- Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies and understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
