Job Summary
To support the Veterans Affairs department, the full-time remote Software Developer in Test (SDET) will develop and execute test plans, create test cases and scripts, and lead testing efforts to ensure software quality and compliance with organizational standards.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures for software systems
- Lead testing efforts, including manual and automated testing, and document test results
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve testing processes
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 or more years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
- Strong programming skills in languages such as C#, Java, or Python
- Proficiency with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
