Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Development Engineer III, Map Data Publication.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement a new data publication service for 3D/HD data for self-driving vehicles
- Expand data publication for ADAS and Navigation map data in new formats
- Code and implement data processing and conversion within cloud applications using technologies like Python, SQL, AWS, and Spark
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Python, Scala, or similar programming languages for data processing
- Experience deploying data pipelines within scalable cloud applications, preferably on AWS and Spark
- Strong understanding of geospatial data concepts and tools (PostGIS, QGIS)
- Knowledge of map data formats such as GeoJSON and OpenDRIVE is a plus
- Availability for early morning collaboration with teams in Europe
