Software Development Engineer III
Job Summary
Building and optimizing large-scale batch Spark and Snowflake pipelines, the full-time Software Development Engineer III will design and maintain data processing systems for TV and streaming measurement, working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build, tune, and maintain large-scale batch Spark pipelines for partner-ready optimization feeds
- Optimize Snowflake processing, including SQL transformations and data modeling
- Lead small-to-medium projects from ambiguous requirements to production, including writing technical designs and test plans
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software or data engineering experience
- 3+ years of experience with production Apache Spark pipelines in Java, Scala, or Python/PySpark
- 2+ years of production experience with Snowflake, including complex SQL transformations and performance tuning
- 2+ years of experience running data workloads on AWS, including S3 and Spark on Kubernetes or EMR
- Production experience with Airflow or an equivalent workflow orchestrator
