Software Development Engineer in Test
Job Summary
To support the SAS/ACCESS team, the full-time Software Development Engineer in Test will create and maintain high-quality test automation while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure robust testing environments and quality assurance, with opportunities for remote work available for candidates in the U.S. Central or Eastern Time Zones.
Key responsibilities
- Create and maintain high-quality test automation using modern development techniques
- Collaborate with development, testing, and product teams to promote quality as a key design element
- Analyze test results, recommend corrective actions, and report reproducible defects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related quantitative field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software testing on large software projects
- Proficiency in C programming and/or SAS coding
- Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins
- Familiarity with scripting languages, particularly Python
