Software Development Engineer in Test
Job Summary
To support Department of Defense programs, the fully remote Software Development Engineer in Test will develop, maintain, and execute automated testing solutions, focusing on improving test coverage and ensuring reliable software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reusable automated test frameworks and test suites for complex federal applications
- Create data-driven automated tests using external data sources and integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to troubleshoot test failures and ensure applications meet quality requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- At least three years of experience in automated software testing or an SDET role
- Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java, Python, or C#
- Hands-on experience developing or maintaining automated testing frameworks and using the Page Object Model
- Experience integrating automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and proficiency with Git workflows
