Software Development Engineer in Test
Job Summary
To support quality assurance efforts, the part-time Software Development Engineer in Test will develop and maintain automated test scripts, collaborate with developers to resolve defects, and execute test cases while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using established frameworks and tools
- Collaborate with software developers to identify and resolve defects and issues
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field required
- Zero (0) plus years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber)
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, JavaScript) and willingness to learn
