Job Summary
To ensure the reliability of releases, the full-time remote Software Development Engineer in Test will build automated test frameworks, lead QA efforts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
Key responsibilities
- Set the testing strategy and quality standards for the Calm app and internal tools
- Architect and implement automated test frameworks that integrate into CI/CD pipelines
- Manage offshore QA teams, focusing on automation and higher-value testing tasks
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer, SDET, or QA automation engineer
- Strong programming skills in Java and JavaScript/TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD integration
- Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and/or Android
- Experience leading QA efforts and managing release readiness
