Job Summary
To support a growing technology team, the full-time remote Software Development Engineer in Test will design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Playwright and TypeScript, ensuring product quality and supporting CI/CD efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API tests across application repositories and shared automation libraries
- Collaborate with product owners and engineers to define testing strategies and support shift-left testing
- Create and maintain automated tests that run reliably in GitLab CI/CD pipelines
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- 4+ years of experience in test automation or software development in test
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for test automation
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and integrating automated tests into pipelines
- Strong understanding of testing strategies for UI, API, integration, and regression
