Software Development Manager
Job Summary
Managing a team of software developers, the full-time Software Development Manager will oversee the installation, configuration, and administration of software applications while ensuring the productivity and performance of team members in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices and performance standards
- Design, test, and implement software applications and systems software to meet user and process requirements
- Support applications implementing Decision Centre platform initiatives, including CI/CD and cloud migration
Required qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 2 years of software development experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of progressive experience
- Proficiency in .Net technologies including ASP.NET, MVC, ADO.NET, and C#
- Experience with SQL Server, JQuery, WCF/Web Services, and XML
- Familiarity with version control systems and cloud services such as AWS and Azure
- Strong background in software application installation, configuration, and tuning
