Job Summary
Leading a talented team of developers, the full-time remote Software Development Manager will own the software delivery lifecycle, mentor engineers, and drive architectural decisions while contributing to both backend and frontend codebases.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and coach the software engineering team to achieve high performance and professional growth
- Own delivery planning, sprint execution, and release management, ensuring timely and high-quality software releases
- Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to define the roadmap and translate requirements into actionable plans
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field or equivalent hands-on experience
- 3+ years of experience managing and coaching software engineers in a team environment
- 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience writing production code
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch)
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
