Providing technical leadership for a modernized financial and budget application, the full-time remote Software Development Manager will oversee software development activities, mentor teams, and ensure alignment with program priorities and delivery milestones.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day software development across multiple Agile workstreams, maintaining focus on priorities and delivery milestones
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to developers, promoting best practices in code quality and automated testing
- Collaborate with program stakeholders to translate business operations and requirements into actionable technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years of experience in software development or related technical disciplines
- 4+ years of experience leading software development teams or technical projects
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and enterprise integration methodologies
- Experience with APIs, system interfaces, data integration, or ETL processes
