Software Development Manager
Job Summary
Leading a team of 5-8 engineers, the full-time remote Software Development Manager will modernize a mature product using an Angular and .NET stack, focusing on transitioning to an agent-driven workflow and enhancing AI-assisted development practices.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop engineering team members, managing hiring, performance reviews, and career development
- Own the delivery of the product roadmap, planning capacity, managing risks, and making trade-offs between scope, quality, and team health
- Drive process improvements to achieve higher-quality and more predictable software releases while staying hands-on with design and coding
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years in a management or leadership role
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot
- Proficiency in modern web technologies, particularly Angular or React with TypeScript, and C# / .NET
- Experience leading Agile teams using methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
