Job Summary
Leading a small, high-performing Scrum team, the full-time salaried Software Development Team Lead will manage people, technology, and delivery while remaining hands-on in software development, guiding technical decisions, mentoring engineers, and promoting Agile practices in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and develop a Scrum team of approximately 4-7 engineers, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and promoting effective Agile practices
- Provide technical direction and champion the adoption of agentic development best practices while remaining hands-on with design, coding, and testing
- Collaborate effectively with Product, QA, Architecture, DevOps, and Security to ensure high-quality software delivery and alignment with project priorities
Required qualifications
- 8-10 years of professional software development experience with demonstrated technical leadership or team leadership experience
- Strong hands-on software development background, particularly with enterprise applications, SaaS, or microservices
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and facilitating Scrum ceremonies
- Familiarity with AI coding agents or agentic development tools and their responsible application
- Strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, SDLC, CI/CD, and automated testing
