Software Development Test Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time remote Software Development Test Engineer, the ideal candidate will create and maintain automated test suites, conduct manual and automated testing of web and mobile applications, and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated test suites and test cases to support continuous integration and delivery
- Conduct manual and automated testing of REST APIs and user interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of software QA experience, including manual and automated testing
- Proficiency in automation scripting languages such as Groovy and Java
- Experience testing web and mobile applications, including REST API testing
- Familiarity with accessibility testing tools and standards (e.g., Lighthouse, Axe, JAWS, NVDA)
