Job Summary
To build the technical foundation for external-facing products, the part-time Software Engineer will ensure product quality, manage security and data integrity, and mentor team members while working remotely with a flexible schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure all external-facing products meet quality standards for reliability, accessibility, and security
- Audit products for security vulnerabilities and implement necessary remediations
- Establish guardrails for AI-assisted development and provide technical mentorship to non-engineering team members
Required qualifications
- 3-5 years of software engineering experience with back-end and security engineering knowledge
- Full-stack fluency to transition prototypes to production-grade web-based products
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows and modern production database security
- Familiarity with web hosting platforms and secure configuration practices
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders
