Software Engineer

Job Summary

Driving the evolution of the identity data backbone, the full-time remote Software Engineer on the Identity Platform team will design and implement core components of the identity sync pipeline, enhance observability frameworks, and ensure reliability across systems that support numerous third-party integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core components of the identity sync pipeline, including data ingestion, transformation, validation, and installation
• Build and extend the sync observability framework for monitoring and operational tooling across a high-volume pipeline
• Collaborate with teams to identify and resolve monitoring and reliability gaps, preventing sync failures before they impact customers

Required qualifications

• Strong experience as a backend or platform engineer, particularly with production data pipelines using Dagster, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools
• Proficiency in modern backend languages such as Python, Go, or TypeScript, emphasizing clean API design and observability
• Instinct for data correctness and operational visibility in systems handling numerous third-party integrations
• Experience with circuit breakers and self-healing systems in high-volume, business-critical pipelines
• Familiarity with identity and access governance (IGA) data and its impact on governance outcomes
