Job Summary
Owning the logic behind the Spatial Data Ingestion & Conflation Engine, the full-time remote Software Engineer will build data pipelines that transform complex retail data into high-fidelity insights for customers while ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and maintain versioned data pipelines for the ingestion and conflation of complex retail data
- Ensure data outputs meet high quality standards for accuracy and reliability on consumer-facing dashboards
- Implement a hybrid AI strategy, utilizing both robust rules-based normalization and LLMs for data matching and entity resolution
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience building reliable, staged pipelines for complex ingestion tasks
- Experience in merging disparate data sources into a unified "Golden Record.
- Comfort with LLMs and prompt engineering, balanced with a pragmatic approach to simpler solutions
- Strong belief in versioning for code and data schemas
