Job Summary
To support the development of innovative healthcare analytics applications, the full-time remote Software Engineer will design and develop software modules, conduct testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the Cotiviti product suite.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, maintainable software modules for the product suite
- Conduct unit and integration testing to ensure software functionality and quality
- Analyze requirements and create detailed designs for implementation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience
- 2-3 years' experience with software engineering best practices, including continuous integration and unit testing
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and common design patterns
- Proficiency in Java or Python, along with experience in SQL databases
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Git and Jira
